Does anyone have a tab reference that includes all notes for the above Greg Lake classic? Most tabs I've seen include some but not all parts of the tune. Specifically, I am looking for a tab showing the rapid upward progression of notes that Lake plays on acoustic as an intro to his electric lead guitar solo. Many thanks to anyone that can help. :)
Anyone Remember "From the Beginning"?

I know that ELP tune, but I'm a very poor tabber :(
I'm not sure if that tab is out there, as I learned it by ear just after it was originally released (read I'm old :( )
I might be able to get you started with limited finger position and such.

If you learned that song when it was released, you're probably in my more mature/seasoned age group. It's almost embarrassing to put up a post on this site on tunes going back to the 60's/70's. That was classic music however and it has been covered by a lot of folks; YouTube is a testament to how good a song it was. Thanks for the offer; I figured out most of the song myself sans tabs but I just haven't been able to get that acoustic guitar explosion of notes (sounds almost like Lake was doing an upward scale) just before the electric guitar. I've got to get the CD of it and put it into my guitar trainer device and slow the darn thing down. Maybe I can hear the notes better that way.

Yeah, I learned most of that song by ear too. I think I know what part you're talking about. What I do for learning fast phrases is load the song into Audacity and slow it down by the percentage I need (without changing keys)...just another way to do what that trainer does.
Also, there's these 2 Powertab versions...both show that part the same:

----------------0-2-3-4---------------
-------0-2-3-4------------------------
