Hi
Just joined up yesterday and thought I'd post some stuff showing the different sides to my playing. I love rock, metal, blues, prog...you name it, I'll probably be listening to it! I teach guitar and bass full-time and have a small digital studio in High Wycombe, Bucks, UK where I do my home tuition and also record my stuff.

I'm the guitarist in a rock band from the UK called Black Rose...I use the word 'band' loosely as we do all our stuff by e-mail as we live at different ends of the UK. You can check out that stuff at:

http://www.blackrose-rockband.co.uk/

We're just finishing up an album's worth of material for release by end of year or possibly next.

I absolutely worship the PODxt and have recorded everything on my site with the POD. I have tones from Gary Moore to EVH to SRV and it never dissapoints with a bit of tweaking.

I also have my own site which is very underused at the moment...haven't updated in months! But there are about 25 songs (some covers as well as about 10 original). You can access all of them at this link:

OR, you can go to individual tracks at the following:

This track is called 'High 5' and was written backwards meaning I was mucking about with a new drum program, wrote a drum track, added a bass line and then put the guitar and keys on last!

This one is called 'Slowburn Sunday' and is using a VERY Jeff Beck style backing track I found on the net. I used a Levinson Blade on this track.

Another one from a backer, this is called 'Pacific Highway' and was recorded about 3 years ago. I'm a big fan of twin guitars...

Last one is a track I named 'Vegas Viper' and is old school/new school with a Hendrix vibe but some guitar tricks from the newer guys also. Used to be called Wah Wah Frenzy but I didn't think it suited as there's not really anything frenzied about it!

I've got loads more but ain't gonna flood the boards anymore than I already have!!! Feel free to listen to any of the 20 odd covers also on my mp3 page from AC/DC to ZZ Top and all points between.

Thanks for your time...
Cheers. :thumb:

Wow. Impressive. The SRV and George Harrison files weren't working or something, but everything else was, and it all sounded spectaculor. Great job. I'm liking the Vegas Viper. I bet it was fun to solo over that. Sounded fun anyways.

Thanks for checking it out guys. Yeah I've played for years...I'm officially older than Yoda! Thanks for the heads up on the two tracks as well Weslaba; I'll get that sorted (don't find much time to do the website these days!) :)
