House of the Rising Sun

I got my first midi keyboard controller so I gave it a test run. It's a bit rough. Timing is a bit off and I improvised the thing cause I didn't feel like finding tabs. Used the keyboard to do the drums(very bad :eek: ), organ and synth woodwinds. If you got some time and take listen.

sounds good. Drums could use a bit of work, no doubt, but whatever.

Thats great Nick i loved it, i liked the fact that its a little rough around the edges, makes it a bit grittier, more bluesy :cool:
Had a listen to your little cigar box guitar project too, great tone from that thing!!! reminded me a little of 'Goodtimes Gone' by Nickleback, got that kinda country blues thing goin on :)

Thanks for listening guys. I know it was rough but I got a Midi Keyboard a little early for my B-Day so I had to try some stuff out. I put everything together in like 2-3 hours and thought it isn't that bad. So I posted it. I $uck at drums though. On a real kit or keyboard, even just splicing drum tracks together. What can I say the one man band thing isn't looking good for me. :D I play for me anyway I have no grand visions of being a rock star. As for the Cigar Box Guitar, I need to get back on that and finish it. I like the sound and really want to experiment with it more.

Oh and Mav. if you read this where are you with your CBG. We need to do a little CBG concert or something.
