I think there'll come a day when a guitar solo saves the world. What do you think? Has it already been created or is it yet to come. I think the most promising world-saving solo at the moment is the outro solo to 40's theme by Umphrey's McGee. Anyone care to agree?

I haven't heard anything by Umphrey's McGee, I'll try to find something, and see if I agree.

Hahaha, I saw that commercial. One of the benifits of practicing at Brendon's is that he has cable that we can watch instead of playing music.
You go outside and practice screaming. We'll play music while you're gone.

Captain America by moe.

haha!! I love that song... especially when I get home and I'm drunk... it blares from my stereo along with Front Porch by Umphrey's

I remember going up to Chicago and watching Umphrey's alllll the time with my brother and his friends... and I remember seeing Chevelle a feww times back in the day too... It's good to see some local bands doing their thing!

Some more Umprhey's McGee songs that rock

Woman, Wine, and Song <---- My fav!!!
Nemo
Andy's Last Beer
Fool in the Rain
Get in the Van!!!

Fools. The solo that will save the world is "Eye Candy" by the Greasy Knots.

Guitar solo saves the world? Well, I had the privelage of seeing Derek Trucks solo over Layla at the Clapton concert. If any solo could save the world that would be it. My friends kept on laughing at me because I would sit there motionless, with my jaw on the floor whenever Derek Trucks was soloing.
