Is there a way to get quiet playing, without using something like muting or something.. if that would even work. I've got my nephew always sleeping over here, and my neighbors complain at night. (I don't really care about my neighors, lol, they play the piano all the time..) But, it sucks waking my nephew up.. Are there any tricks to help me?

Well it depends... if you are playing acoustic I play with fingers and dont pick up the pick (I have a 4 yr old that has a bed time and dont want to keep her up). On my electric I use a sound processor and head phones. Keeps it contained to the room. All you hear is the normal sound of an unpluged electric. Hope that helps.
