Microphony, that is what we call it...Well, I have this question "bout it.What exactly makes the guitar squeal?I have noticed this.It never squeals on a clean sound.Always on drive.Unless I am using my wolume pedal as a wah, then it squeals on clean also.Sometimes.It squeals only on certain type of drives.And when using a certain pup configuration.For example; I have an S and a RG Ibanez.S has a ssh configuration, RG hsh.When I plug an S, it never squeal when the pup switch is in second or fifth position.With RG, this is not the case.Soooooo...What does affects the feedback?Is it a certain type of effect?Say, for instance, reverb?Or does it have to do only with pups?
I am thinking LATS would know all bout this stuff... ;)
