T-rex effects

Hey. I have been looking into numerous types of effects and have quite a few myself. The only thing is that I realized that while I was worrying about how my vibrato pedal sounds, I seemed to have forgotten about a more important factor, the straight overdrive tone. I have a fender deville and the overdrive on the amp is alright, but nothing great. I want to get an overdrive pedal that really complements the amp. I was looking into the T-rex pedals (such as the mudhoney and the alberta) and I was wondering if anyone had any experience with either of these, or the t-rex pedals in general. I'm going for the SRV tone (who isn't?) but would also like to get a nice overdriven sound like say... Joe Bonamassa. I would test them out myself and stop being lazy, but I'm pretty sure there aren't any stores nearby that carry them. Thanks.
