Well, here is one of the tunes I'll be playing in my audition on Tuesday. I played it here on my friends piece of crap acoustic. Its some warped neck Esteban thing that has no love/emotions. So its basically a piece of junk. But whatever. I seem to be getting worse at this song the more I play it. Hopefully I don't get all mental in my audition and f up majorly. But if I do, I'll just shoot everyone in the room and run out with no shirt on....You know how it is.

That was a pretty good job of it, man.
The one thing that stood out to me was the speed of the piece: it sounded a little slower than the way Zep did it.
If you could get the speed up, it'd be pretty impressive.

I just compared tempos, and its almost identical. I think Page's just sounds more impressive cuz he's A) 23124 times better than me and B) Has a much better guitar than myself. But the tempo is almost identical. If it is slower, it ain't by much.

Yeah, my fingers get minds of their own sometimes. End up nailing notes and making em vibrate loudly.

The main reason I had to reply was because I saw Little Wing on your site. Really good and was that you singing? Very good also. Anyway I just started messing with that song about 2 days ago. At my skill level its going to take me awhile to get it down. I saved your version on my soundclick page for inspiration. :D

Thanks guys. I've got a better guitar lined up for the audition, so hopefully that will cure my problems with that low E. Its very hard to hear on that guitar for some reason, so I end up wailing it and it sounds even more like poop.
