Is it my imagination or are there more blues fans, players and devotees around GT these days? :)

It doesn't have to be either or... I guess I'm in team shred, but I still wish I could knock an audience dead with one note like Buddy Guy...

Anyway, yeah - there do seem to be more blues dudes around lately... and you can't get far with guitar without the blues, so no-one should blinker themselves...

I hate folk though.... ;)

I just love music of all kinds. Lately I found a fondness of blues I never had before (well before I picked up a guitar). Hell I dont know if im just getting older or what, But I know I spend my fair share of time listening to some good ole blues.

Yea, blues guitar has always done it for me. Living in Memphis has been great for catching live blues music on Beale Street.
Blues is easy to play, but hard to feel.
