I had to take a detour the other evening because of freeway construction and was driving past a local music store that was still open so i went in to see if they would cut me a deal on some kinda effect pedal and looking in the display cases i noticed ELECTRO HARMONIX had a new look to some old familiar effects the die-cast enclosures seemed to be a step up from the old stainless steel crap they used to put them in.
I was talking to someone there and asked if they knew about the circuitry.
is it all still the old analog stuff they used in the 70's?
I used to buy their stuff when i first began playing guitar but soon moved into using effects built by roland BOSS dod etc etc.

blah blah blah

anyway i ended up taking home the Digitech RP-100
seems pretty cool so far considering the price
a mere 100 bucks out the door

ok B.T.W
I'm new on this forum
looks cool

edu,

I don't know, but when I lived in Italy I noticed guitar stuff was expensive there. Is it just Europe? Some of my friends tell me Korea is The place to get deals on all electronics. Even US made Jacksons are cheaper over there.

film,
I'd pay 160 for one of these things
I don't know why the store was selling them for 99 dollars
It's a good store thats pretty popular here in pittsburgh pennsylvania called "Pianos & stuff" looks like a ma & pop lil music shop from the outside but when you walk in it's stocked phat like the guitar center on sunset strip in hollywood.
For the price I'm blown away by all the stuff it does.

aside from the effects it has amp modeling, pick up modeling, cabinet modeling, & mike placement

also a tuner and drum machine typa thing called a rhythm trainer

the digitech website has a patch library that shows the settings for all kindsa songs searchable by name and artist too

check out the interactive flash demo of the RP-100 at

anyway yeah this a fun gadget I'm gonna be working with until I can get a line6 POD

ok man... I gotta hit up the coffee pot

till next time
