Yeah, I've only recently discovered Bonamassa (within the past year or so) and you're right. He's an amazing guitarist. A real polished player who can still get down and dirty with the blues. He seems to be an amalgam of Chicago post-war electric, heart-felt Delta and Texas growler blues. Since SRV is long gone, he's a great guy to emulate if you're a blues man that's for sure.
