Rage Against the Machine

I can't seem to reproduce the exact effect of Tom Morellos's sound he uses in "Killing in the Name" verse/riff 1 at time :41 seconds when he first says in a muted voice "Killing in the Name of!!" I have a tabbed version from http://www.tabcrawler.com and need to know if that is correct and also what exact effects are done to get the sound he does especially towards the end of that riff (the quick slide from 2 - 3). I am thinking harmoniser with flange and distortion (slight delay?). Also, is he palm muting that?

AMP: (can't think model off top of my head) just has built in overdrive and reverb, nothing big and fancy
