USB-instument cable

Hey. I use this horrible (currently mono) 1/8"-1/4" cable to record, from the line out on my preamp/mixer into the computer. I've been looking into the usb-instument cable type things, such as the stealth and some others. I was wondering if anyone had any experience with these. Thanks.

i have the stealth....you get great software with it as well...amplitude, traction. all kinds of effect plug-ins all my recordings on the guitartricks listening post are done with it. here is a link to them stealth plug recordings

Those sound good. Thanks. I don't see why not, but I gotta ask. I see that its used mainly from the guitar output to the computer usb port, but there shouldn't be anything wrong with using it from the line out on my preamp, should there?

I use it out of my vox tone lab multi-effects pedal.....I'm sure it will work with your pre-amp. at $99 it is the best deal going right now.
