Go on youtube and type in random songs that you like, but think would be hard to play. Thats proof that anyone can play anything on guitar if they work at it enough. Its gonna piss you off watchin em, but it motivates me. For example, that little kid playing Bron Yr Aur (thats like the 543rd time I've mentioned that song in the past 3 days) motivated me to learn it. After the first night playing it at half time, I've almost got it up to speed.

So sit down and learn. And Aschelman is right, you learn from others material. Thats where influence comes from.
Let your soul shine. Its better than sunshine. Its better than moonshine. Damn sure better than rain.

Hey I was working on the sweet child of mine last night and coulden't get the sound right. I know you need to match Slashes guitar and amp and etc. to get that exact sound. I just want to kinda get close. I have a sound processor I bought a while back. (infact thats what I practice with ... nice you dont have to break out the amp to practice every time.) It has a ton of effects and was wondering what effect I need to be looking for. I know it will be hard to determin not knowing what all effects I have, but if I knew what yall use I can try to match up with what I got. Thanks
A man isen't measured by how far he has traveld in life, but how he made the jurney. ;)
