How are Fernandes and the Sustainer

Hey everyone. I'm new to these forums and still in the semi beginning stages of my guitar obsessesion. I took lessons for a while a few years ago and quit. Recently i picked my guitar up and became obsessed. Since then, i have improved alot, playing tabs from the internet. I know i have to work on memorising scales and all that but i need a new guitar. The one i use now is really old and shot. I was thinking something from Fernandes. They seem to have decent prices and the sustainer sounds pretty cool. I could use the advice from some more experienced players. what do ya think?

My friend has a 1985 Fernandes revolver. That kicks ass. I dont know about any of the other Fernandes guitars
