I missed Iowa, Nevada, and Tennessee. But only cuz I couldn't spell Tennessee. I'm not even sure I'm spelling it correctly now.

I can name a few:

Euphoric state

Depressed state

Aggitated state

Manic state

Hallucinatory state

Violent state ...

No wait a sec, that's from the intake sheet from a 'bad' time in my life. You meant the 50 United States, huh?

I got 40 on my own, then another 3 when I read which ones you guys missed, then another one my friend helped me on.

I forgot Illinois, Maine, Maryland, Minnesota, Oklahoma, and Wisconsin.

Not bad for a Canadian.

Congrats...you're smarter than a 5th grader! ;)
My wife says she learned some gay song way back that lists them alphabetically, but she doesn't remember past Montana. But I learned them visually by location. Given a blank map, I prolly could've filled it in, but it was hard to imagine.
I seemed to get the ones others forgot, but had real "duh" moments on Maryland and Vermont.

I think we learned the 50 states back in grade 5 for some reason as well. I also could've done a lot better with a blank map.

Last year I did this online puzzle of the USA. It was a lot of fun, but I don't remember the link.

Didn't you guys picture a blank map in your head? That's the way I went about it and then went west to east. When I got to the more tightly packed states I "zoomed in" so to speak. Wait a few days and then try it this way.
