I own a Les Paul standard and recently it was been having a lot of problems. This just happened out of the blue i havent done any damage to cause it myself. First off, I was having some tone noises fuzz, poping, static sounds when playing my guitar. I went to go have it check out and their was a loose grounding wire touching the jacket. So, that was fixed I guess. A day later I am getting static poping or charges when I touch the back of the neck, slide down the frets, and especially touching the back plate where all the wires are at. :( I have no idea what is wrong some help would be much appreciated. Thank you

I would take it apart and check all the ground wires. It still sounds like you have a major ground issue. Perhaps the ground wire that is suppose to be connected to the bridge has come detacthed as well.

I'd take it back where ya got it fixed. Obviously they didn't fix it properly.
