Hey there,

I used to use Guitar Tracks Pro.

I think it's a nice piece of software with 32 tracks if I remember correctly.

It's good for recording, good effects in there. Very simple to use too.

The only downfall would be is that it can only handle wavefiles. There is no midi.

It is similar to Cakewalk Sonar I'd say without midi :confused: So you are restricted only to use audio wave files. I stopped using it cos of this, but for recording it is great and very easy to use interface. How it compares to Guitar Tracks I'm not sure, but if you are only interested in recording audio, I think it's a good buy.

If you're thinking about doing complete composition or recordings with drums etc., aybe Sonar would be better.
