digital metronome
can someone recommend a digital metronome that I can plug into my guitar amp while practicing? It would be nice if it offered different rhythms and sounds other than the typical irritating chime. Thanks!

Maybe think about a drum machine instead....
Have you got another line-in on your amp?

Take a look at the Korg Tone Works PX4. It has the basic chime, Rhythm and bass beat to tempo and effects. Also battery operated and you can plug computer speakers or head phones into it for travel. Or go right into your amp. Check it out: PX4D
I have the old PX4 and love it.

where do you find the Px4?
what about the dr. beat?
My amp has a line in for the guitar, another line in for the head phones, a line out for recording, and an aux jack for like my ipod, and a couple of line ins for peddles..thats it.

I purchased a cheep sound processor that I practice with (head phones). It has a bunch of different styles of beats I can play with. I dont even use an amp to practice any more.... the little processor does it all for me. If I do want to run it through an amp I just plug my guitar to it.... then from it to amp. Works great for me. I only spent 65 for mine and tickled with it. (but I am a noob and easly satisfied...lol)
