I'm always looking into effects and such just for fun or whatever, and the other day my friend showed me the Z VEX pedals. They look, and from what I've heard in the clips, sound amazing too. I'm almost tempted to buy one just for the sake of having one cuz they look so cool and unique, and I guess I've been looking into getting a nice fuzz pedal or something of the sort anyways. Anyone ever had the pleasure of using these glorious pedals, and are they worth the dough? I myself was looking into the machine and fuzz factory.

-Thanks

I honestly don't think I've ever heard of ZVex pedals.... If I have it was in passing.

I am a huge Z vex fan!
I dont own one, but I am currently trying to organise a wah probe from Steves guitar centre online.

I played a few Zvex pedals when I lived in London, and they rock! My favourite was the Box Of Rock! that little thing was such a great drive pedal...great vintage Marshall tone.

I'd say get one, hell I'm getting one for much the same reasons as you state.

Let us know what you do, and how it sounds

I've wanted a Fuzz Factory for ages, but they're not sold anywhere around here. I'd pretty much have to order out of the country to get one, and I don't really want to do that. Not yet, anyway.

I know ...quality before looks, but come on
Looks like Fisher-Price made them.
They do sound good though :D

Luckily theres a music store relatively nearby where they are sold, and I would definitely need to use one for a bit before buying it. I enjoy wasting money on pedals occasionally, but 200+ for a pedal is not something you do everyday.

The ZVex Fuzz Factory is on of the best fuzz pedal available. I have played one many time, as well as other ZVex pedals, and it is extremely versitile. If you mess around with the settings enough you can get a really cool vintage Hendrix tone, or a rediculous high gain mess of fuzz. They're pretty pricey, but worth it.
