Hes not really metal anymore cause his voice isnt thrashy anymore. I also think voice wise, Load and Re-Load were the best albums displaying his talent. Pre black album is just shouting with roaring guitar...cool, but boring. Metallica's later material, before Sh*t Anger, had so much attitude. It just grabs you by the balls and never lets go. People just tend to hate it cause it doesnt have guitar solos or speed metal riffs.
