Yeah, they've been wroking on a new album. Bob Rock is no longer their producer... He produced every one of their albums after and including the Black album... I think it's a step in the right direction. I didn't like their St. Anger stuff when I heard it on the album but the live versions that I heard when I saw them a few years ago weren't bad at all. I think they were trying too hard to change the way music is produced and mixed.... Maybe it was ahead of it's time... who knows. But I didn't like that album at all.

I'm hoping that they go back to their roots with the under produced sound of Master of Puppets, Ride the Lightning, and ... And Justice For all. Those albums rocked because it was just straight forward, in your face metal without all the production BS that came with the Black album then into the Load/ReLoad and St. Anger albums... They're such a great band when they just play their instruments.
