metal head for about 13 years, playing music about 11 years...MY personal opinion, stay away form the metal zone. It has its ups and downs, i would suggest getting it if you have a heavy guitar, and heavy amp....otherwise it has way to much fuzz....if you lack equipment...try and jam with one in a small basement...it'l sound like one hiss when the drums go. however, rig it up through somthing like a pod XT or any other multi level effects pedal, then you can put some delay on it compression, noisegate, and really get that heavy sound....or you can buy the individual pedals..like an EQ pedal, delay pedal...depends what your budget is and how you want to approach it...or get both...why not?
