That said if it is a really sensitive thing that requires a really good ear for tone then I neither really feel comfortable doing it myself or taking it to someone else... but I guess I would I just don;t really trust the repair place near me much after the last setup they did.
Anyone know of a good trusted place in the Chicagoland area that I could get my guitar setup at?
Anyway, I know I can get them (the pickups) in there fine but the fine tuning is what I probably can't do fine. Plus I want to get it setup anyway... So I guess I am just wondering about setting the height of the pickup and also adjusting the rods (I assume you have to do this and that it is possible but I don't know I have never done this before).
So once again advice would be most appreciated.
