Where are you? If it's any kind of university halls, the fire brigade are probably on their way... I'd put the fuse back in if I was you....

Also, the alarm used to go off all the time when I was at Uni, and it was always a false alarm... obviously then one night as we all sat there ignoring it, it got a little warm and foggy - no-one got hurt, but we got way closer than we should have....

So did ours... I got lectured by an RA because I was one of the last people out. I was in the middle of putting makeup on, which I know is sooo much more important than my safety. Word.

If you damn university kids spent as much time studying as you do lighting fires, this would be one smart world.

hmmm.... remembering my skills at the time - it's not the cooking, it's the burning... :p

When our alarm went off it was either a) someone smoking right under a sensor or b) some drunken muppet leaving something under a grill and falling asleep....

Which muppet was it? I'm thinking it was the Swedish Chef. But then again, those two old guys up in the balcony never impressed me as being all that stable... :D

Dude, there was nothing funnier than catching a buzz back in the day and watching The Muppet Show. Even now, stone cold sober, they still make me laugh.
