I have a Trinity River cheapo right now that plays as good or better than any guitar that I have ever played. This includes an American strat.

I set the action VERY low... and there isn't even a hint of a buzz. Straight neck. Even frets. Pretty decent tone but not as good as the American strat. However, I am seriously thinking about dropping in some sweet pickups and keeping it as my daily guitar. Unfortunately it is U-G-L-Y

All I can figure out is that it is an anomaly of manufacturing because this guitar is a $130 Chinese cheapo. I bet that the guitar before and after on the assembly line were not nearly as good.
