Hello everyone,

I though some you might enjoy this one :)

I been doing a lot of metal these days but this was a softer song I was working on. Actually was a jamming track I improved over for many months. Then one day I decided to make something more structured with it. So I played around for some melodies and fooled around with different tones (some I hated some I liked).

It's encoded in mp3pro using musicmatch. Hopefully it works with all other players.

Benoit Nadeau - Liberation

Hope you guys dig it.

Nice ideas and progressions, only negative was that I was expecting a big fretboard exploding shred section in the middle or towards the end to shake things up. That's just me though, I always feel the need for speed;-)

:)

I'm really not a shredder. Like a lot of guitarist I was drawn to it when I started but now I really dig trying to find slow melodic lines and harmonies.

That's cool, just a matter of personal taste at the end of the day. You get can get the same job done with fewer notes I just get moved by huge fluries of notes;-) I do think it's a nice piece though, kept my attention from start to finish and had a memorable progression.
