Ok, jiujitsu_jesus gave birth to this monumental concept (thanks a lot bro) so I wanted to start a poll on this...

Favourite Headstock on a guitar:

My personal favourites are:

1- Ibanez (reversed).
2- Washburn (revesed) as on my N1 or any Betanccourt model.
3- PRS.
4- Dean (old models the new Razorbacks are just too much)

So to all the gear pervs out there... knock yourselves up.
Power corrupts. Absolute power is kinda neat.

I find the pointed headstocks on the Ibanez's fairly sexy.
Let your soul shine. Its better than sunshine. Its better than moonshine. Damn sure better than rain.

I forgot to mention one now that I saw LOTS pics...

B.C. Rich headstock it's sick... thematic but sick, if you wanna feel like satan on a guitar BC rich is the way to go.

But now that I think... satan plays Dean. Check it on the new Jack Black movie, satan is a big Dimebag fan. :D I guess he's not such a bad dude.

I like the headstocks on my strat and my hollowbody Yamaha just fine:

And by the way, LatS, that is an awesome looking guitar you've got there.

That's a pic taken by an online buddy in Winnepeg when he found a 1966 Yamaha SG-2 for me in a pawnshop. To his taste, the pups were a bit strong, and the action was too low ( ), but one of these was my first 'real' guitar, and I love this one to bits!

Ah, I don't mind the Ernie Ball headstock. It's better than those ugly Dean headstocks, IMO.

My favourite is the Gibson Flying V headstock, like Andrew mentioned. The ESP/LTD Horizons used to have that headstock, but now they've replaced it with a PRS-style one.

Dean headstock rocks... it's huge I just love it... I don't get why so many people don't like em... but.... I admint that the new headstock (Rusty Cooley, Dave Mustaine) is pretty ugly, but the classic Dean headstock is great...

^^^^ Sometimes guitar makers try too hard. haha. It's a bit overboard for my taste. I like a simple headstock and a simple guitar.
