My parents brought up my taylor acoustic guitar today. I restrung it. Then I played.. for FUN! I almost forgot how fun playing guitar can be when you aren't practicing the same **** over and over for two hours.

So.. I believe almost everyone on this forum can feel me on this...

My problem is I don't "practice" to begin with, so I don't progress as quickly as I might. I'm trying to remedy that somewhat now.

Hell yeah!
Ya get so caught up in lessons and other piddly little details that you forget you can just let loose when ya want.
When you've finished playing ya feel like you just took an amazing drug or something & it's like everthing makes sense again.

Ever since I started making my own compositions I don't see the day where I'll stop.

There's something so amazing to finally hit that perfect riff you were trying to record and then play with it, add other guitar, solo over it.

I'll always remember the first time I recorded a simple 3 chord progression and played notes that sounded right to my ear. There's something so amazing about creating, even the simple things.

I'm grateful to so many people that helped me along the way, people that helped me learn this great instrument. They gave me a gift that has no price.

It's easy to love playing a Taylor guitar.

Sweet...

I haven't been practicing as much since I finished all my exams at the end of last year... but playing for the hell of it certainly does kick ass... :D
