im thinking about buying a cheap-o "titan" bass guitar. has anyone ever owned or played one of these? ive read a couple of reviews and most people say the strings are retarded and are far from the neck, i guess thats the intonation. tell me about em please

The height of the strings from the freboard is known as the action... not the intonation...
Bass guitars need higher action to accomodate the larger string and the longer scale of the neck
I haven't had any experience with those models of bass guitars though. I'd say play one and see for yourself.

the problem is ive never seen them in stores. ive just seen them online. its cheaper there
