I agree with this also. I haven't seen One Flew Over the Cuckoo's Nest, but I have read it. It was great. I've gotta see it.
I don't know why but I like the movies and books that just make you feel like absolute crap in the end. Seems to help me put things in perspective in a sick and twisted way. Like "Requiem for a Dream" for example.
