Ok i have a dilemma here i have a really nice stock ibanez RG1527 but iv'e been offered 2 really nice guitars for it an ESP LTD MH 307 with Wylde Active EMGs it is neck thru with a finished neck ( which I dont really like), and it has a flame top and a liscensed floyd rose bridge. The other guitar is an Ibanez RG270DX with an Evo in the bridge and a Fred in the neck and a stock single coil after all of this i plan on getting a music man because they play better than all of them but i still dont know because this 1527 sounds and plays really great

well i researched them and i think you have the best guitar of the three... you sure the "ltd" esp has active pups?? cause all the ones i saw had passive emg's which are crap

A bud of mine has a 307, it does have active emg's.

Why if you've got 1 guitar you're happy with would you be interested in trading it for a guitar with a neck you don't like, and a low end RG?

Ok im back after playing the 7 string( the key component ) its great and all the only thing that im not too keen on is the clean sonud its good but not great but the only reason im considering this is because im getting a JP music man within a year or a year and a half and if i need to make money i could sell those 2 guitars for mroe than my RG if I needed to.
But stock LTD ones have passive EMGs but these ones are active and the ibanez plays quite well and those new pickups wont hurt because i kind of need a guitar to keep at school for jazz class.
Oh, in mid typing I discovered a better clean tone, still not AMAZING but still pretty good. extras included are the fact that steve vai and his band signed the back plate of the 7 string but its fading, and a dimarzio clip lock strap that you cant buy in canada anymore I believe and a really good gig bag which i need
