I've had that revelation from time to time. That's how i define music...arranging notes that trigger emotion.

I disagree with you on the malmsteen thing though...I mean, like you said--it's emotion. It's tottaly understandable that you don't feel anything, and i don't really like him...but if someone feels excitement, or elation, or fear because of it--that's emotion.
