...It's the mxr phase 90. Yah.

Got it the other day, clipped the r28 and haven't been able to shut it off. I mostly just use it on a slower speed, where it adds a thickness and tone I didn't know existed. I love it. I love it.

Anyone agree?

Eh, not much of a Phaser guy, but that could be since the only kind I;ve tried is the one on my Peavy 112. I really like a good flanger tone, one that doens't go too deep or too high. I like both the Flanger tones on the Pod 2.0, at least the preset ones (when you switch the effect while on a preset tone.)

The next time I'm at GC, I'll have to give the MXR EVH Phaser 90 a go and see how that sounds.

Sweet! I love a good phaser. What year model is it? I assume it's a used ~80-90 model if you clipped the r28 cap ;)

Hey Chris, if you want a good flanger, check out the MXR M117r (not the overpriced EVH model). It is the most versatile and best sounding flanger that I've ever used.

Eric, I'm not sure exactly what year, but im guessing early 90's. Got it on ebay...it went from $40 to $80 in the last four minutes. It's got chips out of it, but it's an mxr so that just adds character. :D

Ya, If it's anything like the effects on my mg, it's not quite a fair assumption.

Cool, I'll have to look into that.

Clipping something named r28 should be a resistor, not a cap
Honest mistake. I'm just saying :p

Oh well, I'm pretty ignorant when it comes to the technical names of electronic parts. Thanks for the correction ;)
