I thought he did a good job as well. He is a pretty good guitar player, but I'm so glad it wasn't Justin Timberlake again. :)

Yea, some of his music is alright, but is just that his name is plastered everywhere, and its gettin old. Like Lewis Black said... "yea....cause when I think football, I think 'Nsync."

I thought that was a pretty rockin' half-time show. I started laughing when he played "Best of You," but then I realized it's actually a pretty good song when it's him doing it.

It was cool, and he was a good sport about the rain...but I guess it was kinda cool since he was playing purple rain.
I was pissed that he didn't play fury though...

GRRRRR I so missed the half time show (was outside getting the fire going for some heat for the smokers). I cought the last 15 seconds or so of the show. I was razzed a bit about wanting to see prince perform. Guess i'll have to go searching you tube in the morning...lol.

The man's got some chops. Sadly he writes insipid songs. Thank God he played covers for three of them.

I've always enjoyed Prince's lyrics. Doves Cry, Purple Rain, even Darling Nikki are all greats in my book. Like anything, I suppose it's a matter of taste. His stuff after "Sign o' the times" wasn't as good in my opinion.
