They don't usually celebrate it in Wales however seeing as my wife is from Pittsburgh we went out for pizza and beer and managed to slip in a couple at a local pub before going home and watching the Bill Murray Movie of the same name !
Not a bad night and Im not total incapacitated with hangover death today ! So all round a total winner !!

No kidding? Your wife is a Pittsburgh girl? How cool is that? That's terrific. Do you ever get here to the 'Burgh? Pump an Iron or two, have a Primanti's or a plate of Peiroghi's? Well, hope yinz guys are doing good an 'nat over there.
As far how I celebrated, I worked. But when I got home, I put on my 'Phil' hat and my faux fur snout and danced about in the moonlight in celebration. GH Day only comes but once a year! :)

I drank some gin. Then we ran outa mixers. And I tried mixing with water. No. So then we went to walmart, and my friends roomie got some paint to sniff. And then we went to the gas station. And then we went to mcdonalds. It was a fun night.
Let your soul shine. Its better than sunshine. Its better than moonshine. Damn sure better than rain.

I went to a 80's themed frat party. Drank myself silly. Then hooked up with one of my exes bestfriends (it was more like a conquest at the time). It was great.

Unfortunatly, I;m still grounded so I was at home once again. Luckily, my parents are going away next week from Thurs to Sunday so I'll be able to go out and party.

Catherine got all misty-eyed when she saw your post (and mentioned something about grey skys) as I think she would much rather be in Pittsburgh than anywhere else on the planet ! But you know how it is, you gota go where the work is !!
ANd Cardiff aint so bad (when it is not raining)

Well let me know when you're in town. Be glad to meet you all and shoot a couple of racks, pound a few brews and generally talk the Bravo Sierra. That's one thing you can always count on with folks from the 'Burgh. Always willing to sit and tell stories. Most of them aren't true but they sound good! :)
As far as grey skies are concerned, we only get two-three bright days here annually. We try not to use them up too early in the year. Of course, that explains the average Pittsburgher's bright and sunny disposition!! :D

And even though Philly is a couple hundred miles from Gobblers Knob (insert joke here) Ole' Phil still gets tons of T.V. air time. One station even did "live team coverage" of the event. LOL
