Hey everyone, I'm looking into getting set up with an acoustic trigger type of thing for recording. I just need some advice on what to use for the bass drum.

I'm looking at these two:

http://www.musiciansfriend.com/product?sku=442194
http://www.musiciansfriend.com/product/Roland-RT10K-Kick-Trigger?sku=449932

If you have experience with either of these, or can possibly recommend a different one that you think is a good product for a reasonable price it would be a great help. Thanks.

I can't offer much, except to say that I've used the Roland one, and never heard of the other....

For what it's worth, I've never had any trouble with any Roland/Boss kit...

Since I played drums like 12 yrs ago, Ddrum has been the best type of drumm triggers... the best... I've benn told that they can take a lot of abuse and are pretty much easy to set them up on your drums, besides the interface that manages the sound seems to be very versatile and compatible.

Look closer to must live acts where live drums are enchanced with electronic triggers... all of them are Ddrum, so I think if they are road trusty, in a home or studio situation shuold be a no brainer, besides their coast.
Power corrupts. Absolute power is kinda neat.
