GT Solo Assignment Feb '07
# 1
Ok sorry I have another question lol...This may sound a bit stupid, but I am new to recording, so how can I get my solo and the backing track on the same track?

Depends on the software you are using but usually you can import the backing onto track 1, then record your take on track 2. If told us the software you are using it would help a little. :)

I am using Apple's Garageband. I plug my guitar directly into my comp using a 1/4 to 1/8 inch adapter. I have been using garageband for a while now, but I have never really recorded anything that I would submit anywhere.

Sweet! nevermind, I figured out how to import tracks (drag and drop, imagine that lol). Thank you for the idea though. :)

Just wanted to say sweet track Julian...I've played around with it a bit, but haven't hit record so far. Regardless of if I submit or not, I'll have some fun with this for awhile. Nylon and electric are both at home in this one...nice!
