ermm i just bought an ilbanzez metronome and its max beep only 210..
so does my speed traning only at 210 only?
then i gotta buy a more expensive metronome?

ur playing 4 note at 1 tick of the metronome which hv 150 bpm?
wat if i play 4 note at 4 tick? XD

Some metronomes let you spilt the beat, so you can set it to play whole notes, 16ths or whatever...

In answer to the question... yes - if you play 4 notes a beat at 150 the metronome is clicking once for each beat, and you are playing 4 notes - 1 on the beat, and then another 3 in time before the next click. That would be 600 notes a minute.

usually when people talk about playing at 180bpm they are playing quarter notes (4 per beat) at 180bpm...

If you can play 4 notes a beat at 210bpm, that will probably be fast enough... :cool:

If you play 4 notes per 4 ticks, you are playing whole notes. If its 2 notes per tick, your playing 1/2 notes, 4 notes a tick its quater notes and so on.

Yeah.... here's the secret.

Practice picking 'down-up-down-up-down-up.......' at 90Bpm. When you can do it OK, try it at 94Bpm... :p
