This was the 12th posting in this thread. Bardsley is usually quite lucid, so this particular bit of apparent lunacy may actually be a hitherto little-known dialect of 'strine :D

Albertans seem to be a rare commodity on this forum...so I will add myself. I guess that I've been pronouncing Toronto wrong as well, my bad.

I'm from Edmonton pronounced Ed-mon-ton.

By my reckoning, there's at least three of us. I'm in Calgary, (pronounced CALgree), and there's another member in Edmonton.

i went through the first coupld pages of the member directory in seach for more of "our kind" but got tired after the first 7 pages...skipped to the end and found there to be more than 400 pages....glad I skipped it

I'm Rick, from Edgware, North London, England. I'm a Fender freak, particularly Tele's, but love Strats too. Country sort of stuff is my bag, but I'm also heavily into 60's and 70's pop and rock. Beatles rule, R.I.P George.

Hey, chalk another one up for the Canucks - Toronto, Ontario, Canada here! (North York, to be exact!)

I think I already responded to this thread last year or something, though.

I stay here for the free health care and the superior beer (even though, lately, all I've been drinking is Guinness + widget).
