I totally agree. I have bought several things on Craigslist and had good results. I prefer it to eBay any day.

That is the reason I recommended the pawn shop hunting because of your budget. I think if it were me I would wait and continue to save some more money. I remember being younger buying those "cheap" guitars and wishing I would have waited and bought something a little better.
