Changing to open chords for slide

Is there a easy way to tune your guitar to open chords for using a slide on here? I have 2 guitars and I could hit an E and then tune the other to it. Hope this is making sense..lol.. Basically to start with I want to play the Bonnie Raitt song "something to talk about" for my wife.. She Likey

Schmange made an extensive list of alternate tunings, many of them open tunings.

This slide tutorial might also be helpful.

mmark525, I'll refer you to the thread below where you will find a new reference online tuner. Try it out and please let us know if you find any problems using it as we are looking for feedback. There`s many different tuning you can choose from.
