GET A GNX 3 OR 4. USB IN TO PC AND YOUR AWAY.
Comes complete with protaks software you can use a drum machine through it to record a keyboard a mic everything.
I own one and wouldn't be without it. So it cost me 400 quid, well actually it cost my fiance 400 quid it was a 40th birthday prezzie but i haven't stopped using it and have a blast recording. There's no issues with bad tone scratchy sound or breakups the workstation has some cool guitar presets and with the x editor you can create more. there is a dedicated website to download more presets from other users. So go on get one and banish those recording blues.
