I gotta tell you, as a litigation claims examiner for an insurance company, I've got plenty of experience with this sort of thing. You're right. Disney will most likely try to settle out on this for no other reason than to avoid the publicity. However, since the press has it already, they might take the chance. They are a beloved American institution and if the lawsuit is venued in Florida or California where they are a HUGE employer, they could win.

This is so typical. Their lawyer will never let the insurance company talk to the kid UNTIL suit has been filed. It's harder to control children and what they say. They are honest, God bless them, and would say 'I'm okay'. No, this about Dad wanting to make a buck.
