my jam band buddies and i played a house party last night which was actually pretty fun. we play every once in a while at bars and whatnot, but nothing really heavy or anything. its my "just for fun" band, so it usually lives up to its name. contrary to the pictures, the place was actually pretty packed for most of the night, so it was nice to have a good sized audience.

the playing continued until the better half of 1:00, mainly because drunk people love music better when its 1:00. all in all, it was a good house show.

its a De Armond m-75. De Armond is just a side product of Guild..pretty much the same thing. the humbuckers are beautiful and get such great tone. im not usually a freak about a guitar's tone and whatnot...im not picky. but playing this and then going to my ibanez is not exactly bad, its just very different in warmth. they retail around 600 or 700, but they dont make 'em anymore. it plays like a gibson, but its weird becasue i love the feel of this guitar, but im not a gibson kind of guy. if i didnt have this guitar, id probably feel most comfortable playing on a standard strat or a nice, performance-series ibanez with some low action and a skinny neck.
