Pedals Are Squeaking

Howdy folks,

Both my pedals with...I guess you call them "treadles" (maybe thats what they're called Idk) squeak misearably when you rock them. Any recomendations on how to get them to stop? Is there a way I can oil them safely?

It depends on what expression pedals they are I suppose. I have always used my moms sewing machine oil when mine squeak and so far it has worked...dont hold me to that tho

Three in one oil works well as does the machine oil mentioned. When applying
use a cotton bud to avoid overspill.
