What do you mean that Schecter is one of a few brands that price their guitars far below what people are willing to pay for them? I wasnt saying that the C-1 is a beginners guitar by any means, even the Gryphon I dont think is one either. But the Gryphon is in the $375-$400 range. Which is realativily a cheap guitar. Not cheap quality wise, just financially!

Well yeah...you got a point there. I guess I was just looking back at myself. Thinking that IF I had had a better guitar starting out, I would have progressed faster or things would have been a little easier. But yeah, having a $400 guitar sitting there that the kid decided wasnt what he wants is not practical. I have never played a Mexi Strat.....always heard they didnt stay in tune very well. But that was years ago, maybe they have gotten better.
