um i dont quite understand what you mean...

the reason i suggested a slide was becausegoning from the 7 to 8 there are no imbertween frets so sliding from one to another is pretty much the same as hammerin.

i was suggestin 3h5h7s8.

if you wanted to u could so 3h5h7h8, but this puts strain because you have to use all four fingers and there is the akward jump in the middle, beween the 5 and 7.


i would really advize doin it with little distortion better to get your teqnique up to scratch instead of rellying on effects.

i am assuming you are having a problem makin the notes loud enough if u need distortion to make it work well. all i can then suggest is just practice hammers and pull offs more to build strength. you could ban yourself from using the pick for one day, thats what i used to do.

the only other thing i can suggest 3h5h7t8 its a bit weird, but it would work.
