Yeah, great Rock'n'Roll, but I don't feel 'invited in' the way I do with the stuff I listed. Montrose & Hagar fill the sound-stage, leaving precious little to the imagination, maybe protecting themselves from encroachemnt? The players I jam along with convey a sense of confidence that allows others to 'add in' without any consideration of who is out-shining who.

There is very little that I can identify with in Japanese culture, but the clips I have seen of their jam sessions demonstrate a degree of respect that I do not often feel here in North America.

But that's another issue...
