It was this really weird band with a banjo player doing leads and the drummer/Bass player on an electronic kit built into his bass guitar or something. The music was like this weird combination of banjo and jazz. I remember seeing them on the Tonight Show like, 15 years ago and being blown away with how good they were.

Of course!! Similar to String Cheese Incident, Oysterhead/Phish, and Keller and the Keels. Got a real bluegrass feel to it... with a lot of different styles infused in it. Good stuff!
